Trench Knife Messer (Grabendolch)

Had to wait a bit for this to come back in stock but worth the wait. Construction is fantastic, full tang and excellent grips and sheath. The leather and snap on the sheath is well made and what I would imagine what they were like when newly issued. It was so dull as to have no edge whatsoever when I received it but I put in the effort to sharpen it and considering how hard the steel is it keeps the edge well. I also spray painted the metal sheath with matte feldgrau and it is perfect!

Finally bought one after being of stock for a while. The craftsmanship is nice, it feels solid but one problem. THERE IS NO EDGE. This is basically a 50 dollar letter opener. I'm going to try to put an edge on it. 3 stars just because it came quickly and it'd make a nice display piece
