Drawstrings are all wrong.
I am pretty satisfied with the purchase of these, save for a couple of small issues. First, the fabric seems much lighter and flimsier than the real VN era pair I had back in college in the early 1990s. The other issue is the drawstrings. These are way too thick and too long. I used some 4mm round OD green woven cotton cord (e.g., macrame cord or shoestring grade) and fabbed some new drawstrings for these, complete with metal tips, and much closer to the original shoestring kind on the old jungle pants. The manufacturer could make these much more authentic if they changed from the thick woven cord they are using now. JHC

Repro pants
Very accurate reproduction complete with the small pouch inside the left cargo pocket. Zippered fly is brass, but feels a little cheap. Material appears to be cotton; very light and airy. Overall not a bad prchase.

First, I was issued nine sets of OG107s back in the day, best uniform I ever wore (the worst was ACUs) I find this to be a very good copy. As noted in another review, the color of the pants is slightly off from the blouse. No big deal. Honestly, back
