Product Description
These are our standard WWI Officer Riding Boots. During Hurricane Helene some of the boxes in this shipment were damaged by heavy rains at the airport. Some of these boots got damp because the boxes were wet. They are structurally intact, but show minor signs of being damp at some point. We have dried them out over that last few weeks and cleaned them up. They come without boxes, as the boxes were damaged. Overall in very good condition and ready to wear. Because they are close-out items they are sold "as-is" and no returns.
This style of boots was worn by officers of England, France, Italy and the USA as well as many Central Powers Officers. They are also good for some prewar and ealry war German impressions. These 100% leather riding boots are made especially for us in Spain by one of the last makers of real leather riding boots in Europe. These fine Chestnut leather riding boots are made of genuine cow hide leather, lined with calf's skin and come complete with leather soles heels. They have a beautiful, smooth polished finish and at approximately 19 inches tall. They fit the average calf size up to 17". They are perfect for wear with Riding Breeches. The perfect boot for any officer or Cavalry impression. Shafts have approximately 17 inch circumference and approximately 19 inches tall. We recommend giving them a polish with some kiwi wax. THESE ARE GREAT QUALITY BOOTS! Made in Spain by real craftsman.
Note to customers: These are originally sized in European (metric) sizes. If you wear a half size, or want more room, order 1 size up. We normally suggest you go with your normal shoe size. If you wear a half size, we suggest you go up to the next size up.
