New Reproduction Prussian rucksack. Many variants of rucksacks were issued by different German States between 1915 -1918. Our Prussian rucksack was one of more common models issued to the entire German Army making it suitable for any region. Packs are made of authentic grey/green canvas with authentic hardware. High grade leather shoulder straps and equipment tabs. Main compartment has metal grommets with leather cinch cord and two external pockets. We have been working on these for several months, and now can offer you an excellent quality reproduction. Canvas and leather colors may vary from photo.
The distinctive WWI German Army "Einheitsmusters fuer Rucksack" Many rucksacks including civilian models were procured for use by German troops and in 1916 the a standard model was proposed. These rucksacks were Issued to many specialty troops as well as infantryman in lieu of the Tornister pack for carrying personal kit and rations after 1915. Our backpacks are constructed with grey canvas on both sides with two outer pockets. Rucksack also features thick supple leather straps with white stitching and authentic metal hardware. Comes complete with adjustable leather shoulder straps. Measures approximately 23" X 4" X 20". Like original examples.
